idolized steve jobs. is he in your opinion the next steve jobs? or do you think his legacy might eclipse that of his hero? >> i do think he will eclipse steve jobs. he's not as stylish in any way as steve jobs and i don't think you'll see him in a turtleneck. but i do think he is going to change the world in ways that steve jobs only sort of started to. facebook is in our phones, it's in everything we carry. it's in every moment of our lives now. and i think steve jobs was part way there, but i think facebook will keep going with that. so i do think him idolizing jobs is kind of a framework for where he's going to go. >> and when zuckerberg heard of your book, the accidental billionaires, you got a lot of pushback. in fact, the facebook crowd called you the jackie collins of silicon valley. do you think your book and then the movie helped make him more human in people's eyes? >> i do. i think the book and the movie were actually a good thing for facebook. he did call me the jackie collins of silicon valley, which i didn't mind. but i felt it was a true portrayal of him and of the company

the company to unlock his $137 billion on cash on hand to pay off dividends. steve sedgwick is live for us in london. steve, what exactly did david einhorn, who is he suing, what's going on here? >> basically, the point is apple wants to change its charter and ban a type of shares which would give a very high yield to investors. they want to preserve their cash pile, $137 billion, part of $500 billion plus held by the top 20 u.s. corporate. they want to hang on to the money, most of which is held offshore, which in brought back onshore into the united states could trigger hefty tax bills. apple wants to hang on to the money to use in other ways going forward. a lot of activist shareholders and hedge funds want a higher yield on their stock, especially considering the fact that stocks like apple are now trading as low as $468 a share. it's a very anxiety battle for the company and investors. >> steve, the merger talks, american airlines and us airways, where's it stand now? what's the implications for passengers? >> yeah, looks like this one's going ahead. it will create the largest domesti

care about. >> going back to steve's point and the reality of this, how do you convince democrats to both protect the programs that you are talking about and not worry so much about entitlement reform or sort of stick to their idea of entitlement without giving one or the other up? >> it's an important question and i am glad you asked that. one thing we have to think about is what we need to take care of. the fastest growing segment of the population right now. those who are 65 and older. when we are talking about that, i don't like to use the word entitlements. what we are talking about is our parents and grandparents going to be able to care for themselves after they stop working and will they have a health care they need? it's something we have to talk about and how we take care of the needs of our elderly as the fastest growing population. this is one of the things that suggested what we should do is slow down. we should take these measures that are requiring us to speed up and make fast decisions when we have time to figure out how to do it right and how to do it in a way to
